Eco-Friendly Practices
We are proud to announce that we use 100% PCR bottles. All our products are bottled in 100% PCR bottles. 100% PCR means that all of the resin used to make these bottles has been recycled post consumer. Buying products made of PCR content salvages materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill and puts it to good use. For every 3,700 bottles recycled, a barrel of oil (42 gallons) is saved, and about half a ton of toxic air emissions are avoided. By using PCR bottles, we lowered our carbon footprint by 60%.
All of our labels on our bottles are Earth-FirstTM Labels. All their labels are made from corn-based plastics. They are essentially more cost-effective than petroleum-based plastics. During the production of our labels, fossil fuel use is reduced by 65% and greenhouse gas emissions are reduced by 80% when compared to the production of traditional plastics. All our labels are made from an annually renewable resource and are processed using green technology.
All of our packing is eco-friendly. Every Natural Hot Tub Company® shipment is packaged using recycled cardboard and biodegradable (water soluble) packing peanuts.
We promote and carry-out safe draining techniques, as well as water conservation practices.No Warning Labels are on any of our products
Portions of our profits are donated to the American Forests Organization. This Organization works to protect and restore the environment by planting and caring for trees and forests.
